Arriving in Now – The way of Mindfullness

with Mari Kennedy.

At its basic level mindfullness is the capacity to pay attention and be present. Mindfullness is a way of being awake to the truth of each moment, of embracing all of life. Its the ability to welcome everything even the most difficult life circumstances and emotions as we learn how to open rather than shut down to ourselves, to others and to life. As we open we become more present, more compassionate and more available to meet both the messiness and the magnificence of life.
This will be an introducion to mindfullness and we will have a chance to explore some of the practices.

Yoga and Women’s Health: A Lecture

Yoga and the cycles of a woman’s life

Yoga has a predominantly female following in the west, however most of the founding fathers of Hatha yoga have worked through the filter of a male body, which is understandable as they were men! This interactive talk looks at all areas of the yoginis womb life and how best to approach her yoga practice from where she is in that continuous cycle. Men are most welcome too!
